Description
CellCamper® Cooling Unit Cool (0°–4 °C) is a dedicated cooling insert for the CellCamper® Midi and Maxi systems, providing a controlled temperature range from 0 to +4 °C for temporary sample storage and transport in the laboratory. Once preconditioned, the unit maintains the cool range for up to 14 hours, supporting short-term cold-chain needs for cells, reagents or temperature-sensitive materials. Pre-cooling can be performed at −20 °C (approximately 4 hours) or at −80 °C (approximately 2 hours); after removal from −80 °C the unit should rest for 10 minutes at room temperature to equalise surface temperature before use. This Cool variant (article 2-3716) forms part of a family of three temperature options that cover distinct ranges for different laboratory workflows. Offered by manufacturer neolab - Labor as a single-piece accessory, it slots into compatible CellCamper® housings without additional adapters. The design enables portable, ice-free cooling for bench-side work, short transfers between rooms, or temporary holding when a refrigerator is not immediately available. Suitable for cell-culture, molecular-biology and general laboratory environments that require reliable 0 to +4 °C conditions for limited periods.

Questions about CellCamper® Cool cooling unit (0°-4°C)
What is this article?
CellCamper® Cool cooling unit (0°-4°C) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.
Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
Which category should I open next?
