The counting scale KERN CIB 6K-4 is a robust piece-counting balance built to accelerate inventory, portioning, dosing and sorting with a counting resolution of 30.000 points. Three dedicated displays present weight, reference weight and total piece count side by side, while automatic reference optimisation stepwise improves the average piece weight for precise counting. Optical and acoustic checkweighing support guides the operator: display colour and signal frequency change when the result is too low, within tolerance or too high, which is practical in noisy or quiet rooms and where operators change often. Via the keypad you can program the desired reference piece count or a known reference weight; a counting sum memory totals identical parts by piece count and overall weight. PRE-TARE enables manual deduction of a known container weight for fill-quantity checks. Twenty freely assignable direct keys plus memory for 50 reference weights and PRE-Tare values cover recurring jobs. Compact, light construction and battery operation allow use at several sites; one keystroke switches from counting to weighing mode. Backlight switches off after 5 seconds and can be disabled. A protective working cover is included with this model from manufacturer Kern.
