Desiccator system version 1 with DN 200 flange is a complete borosilicate glass 3.3 assembly designed for controlled drying and storage under reduced pressure or inert atmosphere. The unit comprises a lower part, porcelain insert and a specialised lid featuring one central NS 24/29 socket, three GL 25 threads and one GL 32 thread. Version 1 equipment includes a ventilation valve, dial manometer, stopcock with NS 14,5/2,5 mm bore, GL 14 thread with screw-connection cap and PP olive of 8,6 mm diameter. The special lid threads allow convenient introduction of inlet tubes, electrodes or cables. Supplied ready for use with PP screw caps, the system is manufactured by Rettberg and offers a clear flat-flange diameter of 200 mm. Side tubulature is present for additional connectivity. Net weight is 5,560 kg. This robust glass desiccator supports a wide range of laboratory drying, conditioning and vacuum applications while maintaining chemical resistance and optical clarity typical of borosilicate 3.3.
