Description
Detectable scoop SteriPlast®, blue polystyrene (PS), sterile, 25 ml is a single-use sampling tool designed for powders, granules and pastes. Manufactured from blue polystyrene with a special additive that makes the plastic visible to metal detectors, X-ray systems and colour scanners, it supports reliable foreign-body control even though the scoop itself is plastic. Production, assembly and packaging take place under cleanroom class 7 conditions; each scoop is individually packed and gamma-sterilised for disposable use. With a nominal volume of 0,025 l and a length of 141 mm, the scoop is practical for routine sampling workflows. The blue colour further aids visual detection. These detectable scoops from manufacturer Bürkle comply with relevant EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and are suitable for use within HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management programmes. They are intended especially for the food, feed and pharmaceutical industries where contamination control and traceability of sampling utensils are essential.

Questions about Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 25 ml
What is this article?
Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 25 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
