Description

Detectable SteriPlast® scoop, blue polystyrene, sterile, 50 ml is a single-use sampling scoop for powders, granules and pastes. With a nominal volume of 50 ml (0,05 l) and a length of 160 mm, it supports hygienic transfer and portioning in controlled production settings. Each scoop is manufactured, assembled and packed under cleanroom class 7 conditions, then individually packed and gamma-ray sterilised for disposable use. In addition to the vivid blue colour that aids visual recognition, the polystyrene contains a special additive that makes the scoop visible to metal detectors, X-ray systems and colour scanners, so plastic fragments can still be rejected by standard foreign-body inspection lines. The design follows EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and fits HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management programmes. These detectable scoops from manufacturer Bürkle are intended especially for the food, feed and pharmaceutical industries, where sterility and traceable contamination control are essential. Pack size is 10 pieces.

Questions about Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 50 ml

What is this article?

Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 50 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.

A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.

The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
