Description
Detectable scraper SteriPlast®, blue polystyrene (PS), sterile, 80 mm is a robust single-use tool for scraping, smoothing, cleaning and removing residues in controlled production environments. Manufactured from blue polystyrene with a special additive that makes the plastic visible to metal detectors and X-ray systems, it can be reliably sorted out by standard foreign-body control equipment even though it is not metal. The distinctive blue colour further supports rapid visual identification. Each scraper is produced, assembled and packed under cleanroom class 7 conditions, individually wrapped and gamma-sterilised for immediate disposable use. The design from manufacturer Bürkle is stable and easy to handle, making it suitable for routine sampling and hygiene tasks. The product complies with EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and supports HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management programmes. It is intended especially for the food, feed and pharmaceutical industries where detectable single-use utensils help maintain product safety and process integrity.

Questions about Detectable scrapers, blue, PS, sterile, 80 mm
What is this article?
Detectable scrapers, blue, PS, sterile, 80 mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
