Description
Detectable spoon, bent, long handle, 10 ml, PS, sterile is a single-use sampling spoon made from blue polystyrene with a special additive that renders the plastic visible to metal detectors, X-ray systems and colour scanners. Despite being plastic, the spoon can therefore be rejected by standard foreign-body control systems used in food, feed and pharmaceutical production. The angled bowl reaches corners of containers effectively and suits powders, granules, pastes and liquids. A long handle (grip length 300 mm) supports residual emptying of larger vessels and access through narrow necks; overall length is 360 mm, with a spoon blade of 40 mm width and 56 mm length. Manufactured under cleanroom class 7 conditions by Bürkle, each spoon is individually packed and sterilised for single use. The design supports HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management and complies with EU food-contact and FDA guidelines. Typical applications include pharmaceutical, chemical, food and cosmetics sampling where detectable, hygienic disposable tools are required.
