Without extra filter paper only coarse filtration is possible; under vacuum the process is significantly accelerated. DURAN® glass from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences provides proven chemical resistance and excellent thermal-shock resistance, while the white print is fired into the glass for permanent durability. The funnel is suited to qualitative analysis, preparative chemistry, coarse filtration, filtration at reduced pressure and general laboratory filtering tasks.
