DURAN® burette Class AS with Schellbach stripe and PTFE key is a precision volumetric instrument for titrimetric and volumetric applications. Produced from chemically highly resistant borosilicate glass 3.3, this 10 ml burette offers precise scaling so that the previously unknown liquid volume needed for titration can be read very accurately once the reaction is complete. Adjustment is performed to deliver (“Ex”) at a reference temperature of + 20 °C; dispensed quantities therefore correspond exactly to the scale because liquid adhesion on the glass was accounted for during calibration. Volume tolerances meet the ISO and DIN error limits for accuracy class AS. The Schellbach stripe improves meniscus readability, main-point ring graduation supports clear volume determination, and a waiting time of 30 seconds applies. Equipped with a straight NS stopcock and PTFE key that does not require greasing, the burette simplifies routine laboratory handling. Units carrying accuracy class AS and a batch number are supplied with a batch certificate (CoC) documenting the mean value, standard deviation and issue date; certificates are also retrievable online.
