DURAN® GL 45 bottle connection cap in blue polypropylene with two ports is designed for simple, secure attachment of flexible tubing to DURAN® GL 45 laboratory bottles. The two polypropylene feedthrough connectors are angled at the top and straight on the underside, making the closure ideal for soft elastic tubing such as Viton®, Tygon® or silicone with an inner diameter of 6–9 mm. A freely movable grey PP core permits container changes without twisting already fixed tubing, while the curved connection olives help prevent kinking. An EPDM gasket provides an effective seal against the GL 45 bottle neck, and the cap is fully compatible with all GL 45 threads for versatile use. Typical biotech applications include sterile media transfer with a peristaltic pump from one vessel to another, as well as general liquid transfer and reagent supply to instruments. Optional ventilation with or without a 0,2 µm syringe filter can be added. The connection size is 5,8 mm.
