Description

DURAN® GLS 80® wide neck laboratory bottle, amber, is a 250 ml USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3 vessel conforming to USP and EP (3.2.1). Formed from high-purity borosilicate glass 3.3, it combines excellent thermal behaviour with high resistance to chemical attack. The wider opening eases access for larger samples, granules, powders or viscous liquids. Externally fused amber colouration protects light-sensitive contents from photodegradation; ultraviolet protection meets international USP/EP standards and remains effective over the bottle lifetime without altering internal glass properties. A permanent white enamel graduated volume scale and marking field ensure clear reading and labelling. Each bottle carries a permanently printed batch identifier (Retrace Code) for full manufacturing traceability. Supplied complete with blue polypropylene screw cap (integral lip seal) and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C, all components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C. These bottles from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences support preparation, storage, transport and shipping of light-sensitive materials, media and reagents, and can serve as culture vessels.
