DURAN® square laboratory bottle, clear, graduated, with DIN 168-1 thread is a space-efficient vessel made from high-purity USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3. The 500 ml bottle with GL 45 thread features an easily readable graduated volume scale and a permanent white enamel marking field. Its angular shape delivers up to 20 % space saving versus standard laboratory bottles, offering high standing stability, good stackability and ergonomic handling while reducing space requirements in autoclaves, drying ovens, storage and dishwashers. Supplied complete with the familiar blue polypropylene screw cap (integrated lip seal) and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C, all components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C. The permanently printed Retrace Code on every bottle ensures complete manufacturing traceability. Suitable for reagent feed to instruments with limited bench space, transport and shipping of valuable materials, sampling, media and reagent storage and preparation, sample archiving and as a culture vessel, this bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences provides a particularly tight seal and clean pouring thanks to the standardised GL thread and matched closure system.
