Description

DURAN® reagent bottle, narrow neck, amber, is a classic stoppered laboratory bottle formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass for storage of liquid and solid chemicals and reagents. This 2000 ml version features ground joint NS 29/32 with matching glass stopper and complies with ISO 4796-2. The narrow conical neck suits liquids, while the shoulder geometry supports clean pouring. The glass stopper delivers a tight seal that protects contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. A permanent white enamel marking field and Retrace Code enable clear labelling and full manufacturing traceability. External amber colouring shields light-sensitive materials from photodegradation; UV protection extends to approximately 500 nm and meets international USP/EP standards for the entire service life of the bottle, without changing the internal DURAN® glass properties. Made solely of glass components, the bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences is suitable for aggressive media. An easy-to-read graduated scale with graduation marks aids content estimation. Typical uses include storage of light-sensitive reagents, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, samples and hygroscopic liquids.
