Description

DURAN® reagent bottle, narrow neck, clear, with standard ground joint NS 24/29 is a classic stoppered laboratory bottle formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass. With a nominal volume of 0,5 l and complete with matching glass stopper, it serves for reliable storage of liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. The narrow conical ground joint complies with ISO 4796-2; the slim neck is suited to liquids while the shoulder angle allows contents to be poured easily. The glass stopper provides an excellent seal that protects the contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. Consisting solely of glass components, the bottle from Duran/DWK Life Sciences is therefore suitable for aggressive materials. A labelling field and Retrace Code for manufacturing traceability are printed in permanent white enamel, and an easy-to-read graduated scale supports convenient measurement of the contents. Typical applications include storage of air-sensitive reagents, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, storage of hygroscopic solids, granules and pharmaceutical powders, and transport and shipping of samples.
