Description
DURAN® reagent bottle, wide neck, clear, with standard ground joint NS 34/35 is a classic stoppered laboratory bottle formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass and intended for the storage of liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. Supplied without glass stopper and with a nominal volume of 250 ml, the bottle features a wide conical ground joint that conforms to ISO 4796-2. The broader neck facilitates convenient handling of powders and provides easy access to the bottle contents. When fitted with a matching glass stopper the joint delivers a dense seal that protects the contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. Only glass components are used, making the bottle suitable for aggressive materials. An easily readable graduated scale allows content measurement, while the labelling field and Retrace Code for manufacturing traceability are printed in permanent white enamel that is burnt in for lasting durability. Typical applications include storage of air-sensitive reagents, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, storage of hygroscopic liquids, and the transport or shipping of samples. These bottles are manufactured by Duran/DWK Life Sciences and are supplied as single pieces.
