Description
DURAN® reagent bottle, wide neck, clear, with standard ground joint NS 85/55 is a classic laboratory bottle formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass for the storage of liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. This 5000 ml bottle features a wide conical ground joint and complies with ISO 4796-2. The broader neck is particularly suitable for handling powders and provides easy access to the bottle contents. Supplied without glass stopper, the vessel is designed for use with a matching stopper that delivers an excellent seal, protecting contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. A labelling field and Retrace Code for manufacturing traceability are printed in durable white enamel. Consisting solely of glass components, the bottle is well suited to aggressive materials. The standard ground joint ensures a tight closure, while an easy-to-read graduated scale with line division allows convenient measurement of contents. The white print is fired on and therefore permanently durable. Ideal applications include storage of air-sensitive reagents, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, storage of hygroscopic liquids and pharmaceuticals, plus transport and shipping of samples. This wide-neck reagent bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences offers reliable performance for everyday laboratory storage tasks.
