DURAN® volumetric flask Class A amber with white print is a precision laboratory vessel for accurate volume determination of light-sensitive liquids. This 5 ml wide-neck flask is produced from borosilicate glass 3.3 and carries an NS 10/19 ground joint. Class A provides the tightest volumetric tolerances in accordance with ISO 1042; the flask is calibrated to contain (In) at the +20 °C reference temperature and marked with a permanent ring graduation. An external amber coating supplies effective UV protection while leaving the interior glass surface chemically unaltered, thereby retaining the full thermal and chemical resistance of DURAN® glass. Each unit bears a unique laser-etched serial number on the base and is accompanied by an individual certificate that records the measured volume, measurement uncertainty and issue date, plus a Certificate of Conformity (CoC). An ergonomic polyethylene stopper permits rapid, secure opening and closing. Supplied by manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, these flasks support preparation and storage of standard solutions, dilution, multi-component mixing, volumetric analysis and the handling or transport of photosensitive materials. To preserve long-term volumetric stability the glassware should not be heated above +250 °C in drying ovens or sterilizers. Pack size is 2 pieces.
