Description
DURAN® glass stopper, clear and solid with obliquely ground finish, is intended for oxygen bottles according to Winkler used in the determination of dissolved oxygen in water. The stopper features an NS 19/26 standard ground joint and an octagonal head; its obliquely cut base prevents air from being trapped inside the bottle. Made entirely from borosilicate glass 3.3, it contains only glass components and is therefore well suited to the storage of aggressive materials. The precision ground joint provides a tight, reliable closure for laboratory glassware. These stoppers from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences support storage, transport and safe handling of hazardous or valuable substances. Supplied in packs of 10 pieces, each unit has a nominal volume of 0,1 l, a net weight of 0,027 kg and a gross weight of 0,028 kg. The clear solid construction permits visual inspection while maintaining chemical resistance and dimensional stability under typical laboratory conditions.
This article is part of Laboratory glass bottles, in Bottles & containers.
