DURAN® HPLC bottle, clear, conical, GL 45, 10000 ml is designed for storage and supply of mobile phases and solvents in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Its optimised conical bottom with central filling volume for internal filters maximises efficiency when delivering mobile phase to the HPLC system. This provides a safer alternative to flat-bottom media bottles, as the conical reservoir permits greater content use without tipping that could cause solvent splashing. Made from borosilicate glass 3.3, it offers outstanding chemical resistance with very low extractable inorganic ions and is free of organic extractables. DURAN® is borosilicate glass type 3.3 per ISO 3585, Type I Class A low-expansion per ASTM E438-1992, and Neutral Glass Type I according to USP/EP/JP. From manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the 10 l size enables long uninterrupted analyses ideal for weekends or extended runs. Larger sizes accommodate magnetic stir bars in the central cavity. A side vent/drain opening supports ultrasonic degassing or post-cleaning drainage. The GL 45 thread fits standard HPLC closures, with permanent white enamel graduations and retrace code for batch traceability.
