Description
Dynamic climate chamber MK1020-480V-C is a large temperature test chamber for heat and cold testing between −40 °C and +180 °C. Its nominal volume of 991 l provides generous capacity for cyclic temperature tests and serves as a smart alternative to elaborate custom solutions. APT.line™ preheating chamber technology supports homogeneous temperature distribution, while an intuitive touchscreen controller offers time-segment and real-time programming. An internal data logger allows measured values to be exported via USB in open format, and BINDER Multi Management Software APT-COM™ Basic Edition is included. Equipment from manufacturer Binder comprises programmable condensation protection for samples, fault diagnosis with optical and acoustic alarm, CFC-free refrigerant R-452A, one stainless-steel shelf, two 80 mm access ports with silicone plugs (left and right), heated viewing window with LED interior lighting, class 2 temperature safety device to DIN 12880 with optical alarm, four casters (two lockable), Ethernet interface, adjustable ramp function, integrated chart recorder, real-time clock, door heating and a stainless-steel interior cooled by compression refrigeration. Forced convection and programme memory round out the specification for demanding thermal cycling work.

Questions about Dynamic climate chambers MK1020-480V-C
What is this article?
Dynamic climate chambers MK1020-480V-C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
The category is Heating, drying & cooling. The sub-category is Drying ovens & climate chambers. The catalogue is Lab instruments.
