Description

Stainless steel analytical sieve Ø 200 x 50 mm with stainless steel test sieve mesh to ISO 3310-1 is intended for accurate particle-size separation in laboratory sieve analysis. The woven stainless steel mesh provides a defined aperture of 1,7 mm, supporting reproducible fractionation of powders, granules and bulk solids. The sieve body has a diameter of 200 mm and a height of 50 mm and is manufactured entirely from stainless steel for mechanical strength and chemical resistance during routine use and cleaning. Mesh attachment is realised by soft-PVC welding, and each unit is accompanied by a factory certificate 2.1 in accordance with EN 10 210. Offered by manufacturer Linker, this analytical sieve fits standard 200 mm sieve stacks used in quality control, materials characterisation and process monitoring. Supplied as a single piece, it is suitable for pharmaceutical, chemical, food and mineral laboratories that require durable stainless steel construction and ISO-conform mesh geometry for consistent screening results.

This article is part of Sieve accessories (lids, pans, rings), in Test sieves & mills.

What is this article?

Stainless steel analytical sieve Ø 200 x 50 mm, stainless steel analytical sieve cloth ISO 3310-1 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Linker for laboratory use. It sits in Sieve accessories (lids, pans, rings), inside Test sieves & mills, in Lab instruments.

Sieve accessories are the lid, the pan and the intermediate rings that close a stack. The receiver pan is where the fines end. A lid from a different frame diameter does not seal the stack.

A test sieve sorts particles by whether they pass an opening. Wire mesh and perforated plate are two ways of making that opening, and the nominal size is not a suggestion. A sieve shaker repeats the motion so the result does not depend on how hard someone shook by hand. A mill or grinder makes the particles smaller before they are sieved. The certificate of the sieve, and the opening size, are what an audit asks for. Measurement practice around mass and dimension sits with the BIPM, EURAMET and BELAC.
