Description
Electronic temperature controller MIL-RD1012 is a bench- or wall-mountable unit in a table/wall housing fitted with a clear protective cover. It uses a freely configurable AX4 temperature controller with dual displays for simultaneous readout of setpoint and actual value. Sensor input supports Pt-100 resistance thermometers or thermocouples, enabling use in temperature ranges up to 1200 °C. Maximum switching power is 3650 W at 16 A, making the unit suitable for laboratory heaters and similar process loads. Temperature sensor and heater connect through a 5-pole round socket for quick, repeatable plug-in wiring. A 1,5 m mains cable with Schuko plug and a rated voltage of 230 V AC provide the supply interface. The compact enclosure from manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik shields the electronics and allows convenient placement next to the heated equipment. Net weight is approximately 1,2 kg. This controller is designed for accurate thermal control in research, quality-control and industrial laboratory settings where socket connection of sensor and heater is preferred over fixed screw terminals.

What is this article?
Electronic temperature regulator, MIL-RD1012, 0-1200°C, 16 A, socket is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature control accessories, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
Temperature-control accessories are the probes, the lids, the racks and the fluids that complete a bath or a circulator. A lid is what keeps a water bath from evaporating away. The fluid's flash point is part of the choice.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
