Description

Extraction system KJDF1 is designed to condense and neutralise corrosive residual gases generated during Kjeldahl digestion experiments when paired with a compatible graphite digestion unit. It incorporates a triple filter system that helps prevent spills and generates adjustable negative pressure through a low-noise, corrosion-resistant vacuum pump. Media transport is handled via corrosion-resistant PTFE tubing, supporting environmentally conscious laboratory operation. The unit is intended as the complementary extraction solution referenced for Labbox Kjeldahl digestion setups, enabling effective capture and treatment of process off-gases that would otherwise remain in the workspace. Combination with Kjeldahl digestion tubes of the DTU3-042 series is recommended in the overall workflow. From manufacturer Labbox, the system forms part of the LBX Instruments range for nitrogen determination sample preparation. Supplied as a complete extraction assembly in a single-piece pack, it offers a practical, corrosion-resistant solution for laboratories performing routine Kjeldahl digestions that require controlled fume handling. Net weight is 39,000 kg.

Questions about Exhausting and fume elimination system, KJDF1

What is this article?

Exhausting and fume elimination system, KJDF1 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Digestion & distillation systems, inside Distillation & extraction glassware, in Labware.

Distillation separates liquids by boiling point. A condenser turns the vapour back into liquid: Liebig, coil and cold-finger shapes differ in how much cooling surface they offer. A still head and a column sit between the flask and the condenser. A Soxhlet extractor washes a solid again and again with the same solvent. Ground joints have a standard size, and the joint, not the flask, is what has to match. The pieces are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
