Description

Gooch filter 50 ml, porosity 2, NSK 34/35 is a laboratory filtration crucible made from borosilicate 3.3 glass. It is fitted with a VitraPOR® filter plate of 23 mm diameter at porosity grade 2 and carries an NSK 34/35 ground joint. The overall height is 100 mm, giving a practical 50 ml working capacity for solid–liquid separations. The integrated sintered plate provides a fixed filtration surface that can be used without separate filter paper. Supplied in packs of 2 pieces from manufacturer ROBU - Stereon, the crucible combines the dimensional stability of borosilicate 3.3 with a defined VitraPOR® frit. The NSK 34/35 joint allows direct connection to matching laboratory glassware, while the compact 100 mm height keeps the unit convenient for bench use. Porosity 2 delivers a medium pore structure suited to many routine collection and washing steps. Together the 50 ml volume, 23 mm frit, porosity 2 rating and NSK 34/35 joint form a complete Gooch-style filter ready for analytical and preparative work in research or teaching laboratories.

This article is part of Büchner & filter funnels, in Funnels.
