Description
High-precision digital vane probe Ø 100 mm with fixed cable connection and integrated temperature sensor determines flow velocity, volume flow and temperatures up to +70 °C together with a compatible multifunction measuring instrument (ordered separately). The permanently attached cable links the probe to the meter; a structured volume-flow menu enables duct geometry entry, exact volume-flow calculation, time and point averaging, and display of average, live and min/max values. A button on the vane probe stores individual points or starts and stops timed measurement series without touching the instrument. Low start-up speed of 0,1 m/s supports laminar-flow work in cleanrooms, while the 100 mm vane averages flow over a large area during loop traverses of grilles and outlets. Digital design from manufacturer Testo eliminates instrument contribution to measurement uncertainty and allows only the probe head to be sent for calibration. Optional extendable telescope with 90° angle plus extension (up to 2 m combined) eases ceiling measurements; funnel set testovent 417 and a volume-flow straightener enhance precision at disc valves, ventilation grilles and swirl outlets. Cable connection is ideal where wireless signals are restricted.

Questions about High-precision vane probe, Ø100mm,digital, including temperature se
What is this article?
High-precision vane probe, Ø100mm,digital, including temperature se is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.
A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
