Description
Ice drill V4A with inner × outer diameter 8 × 10 mm and a drilling depth of 100 mm is a robust hollow-core sampler for deep-frozen and semi-solid materials. Intended for frozen products in the food and luxury-food sector as well as for semi-solid substances, the sharp saw crown cuts rapidly into the sample matrix so that a cylindrical cross-section core can be removed. The tool mounts on a standard commercial drill machine and advances to the required depth with little force, allowing a representative core from all layers of the frozen medium. An ejector releases the sample cleanly from the drill head after extraction. Manufactured from stainless steel V4A (1.4404/1.4571) by Bürkle, the drill is sterilizable and suitable for food-contact use. It supports quality control in food and feed laboratories, sampling of frozen meat for meat inspection, and recovery of cores from other deep-frozen materials such as frozen liquids. Net weight is 0,168 kg for convenient handling on the bench or in the cold room.

Questions about Ice borer, 316L, inner-xouter-Ø 8x10mm, depth 10cm
What is this article?
Ice borer, 316L, inner-xouter-Ø 8x10mm, depth 10cm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Other lab tools & accessories, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
This shelf is the bench tools that do not belong to a narrower rack: odd holders, small aids, pieces that complete a setup. The useful check is what the tool touches, and whether that contact adds a contaminant.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
