Description

Icepur® disinfectant is an alcohol-free disinfectant cleaner concentrate supplied in a 10 L canister and intended for dilution before use. Formulated with quaternary ammonium compounds and free from aldehydes, it cleans and disinfects in one step with a short contact time. The product dissolves protein and fat, loosens dried blood stains without leaving residues, and neutralizes odor-causing bacteria while remaining odor-neutral itself. Non-volatile and without toxic or volatile constituents, it shows good compatibility with metals, rubber and plastics. Typical uses include combined wipe disinfection and cleaning of surfaces and inventory, as well as mask disinfection and cleaning in epidemic situations. MEA- and SMA-tested and BauA-registered, the concentrate from manufacturer Landgraf HLL is diluted with water as specified: a 1 % solution (1 : 100) uses 10 ml Icepur per litre of water; for heavier soiling a 2 % solution (1 : 50) with 20 ml per litre is recommended. This dual-action concentrate supports efficient hygiene routines in laboratory and medical settings.

Questions about Icepur®, disinfectant 10 L canister, dilution required

What is this article?

Icepur®, disinfectant 10 L canister, dilution required is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Canisters & jerrycans, inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A canister or jerrycan holds litres, not millilitres, and it is shaped to be carried and to pour. The material has to survive the liquid for the whole time the can sits in the store.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
