Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-09 ROTI®Star is a low-level multi-element standard with six elements—cobalt, chromium, molybdenum, aluminium, vanadium and titanium—each at 0,05 mg/l in 2%. HNO3. It is intended for ICP-MS calibration, verification and quality-control steps where trace concentrations of these metals must be established with confidence. Typical physical properties include a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point around 100 °C; the product is assigned UN number 3264. suits regular use in analytical laboratories performing environmental, clinical-research or materials trace analysis. Offered in the ROTI®Star line from manufacturer Carl ROTH, CR-09 delivers a defined dilute multi-element matrix for simultaneous ICP-MS measurement of Co, Cr, Mo, Al, V and Ti. Choose this standard when a ready 0,05 mg/l multi-element solution in dilute nitric acid is specified for sensitive ICP-MS work.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-09 ROTI®Star, 100 ml, HDPE

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-09 ROTI®Star, 100 ml, HDPE is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
