Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-75 is a ROTI®Star calibration standard containing ten elements in 2 %. HNO3 for ICP-OES and related atomic spectroscopy. Element concentrations in mg/l are As (1), Co (1), Cr (4), Cu (1), Fe (10), Mn (1), Ni (4), Pb (1), Sb (1) and Zn (1). Density is approximately 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is above 83 °C. The solution is Laboratories performing environmental, materials or industrial analyses can use CR-75 to establish consistent response factors across the listed analytes. The nitric acid matrix supports stability of the dissolved metals under typical handling conditions for acidic multi-element standards. UN number 3264 applies to transport classification of this mixture. The ready-to-use format helps streamline method setup where simultaneous determination of these elements is required.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

What is this article?

Multi-Element ICP Standard Solution CR-75, 100 ml, 10 elements in 2 % HNO3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
