Industrial scale IFC 6K-4 is a robust platform scale built to heavy industrial standard for harsh everyday use, offering a weighing range of 6000 g with 0,2 g readability. Its platform uses a stainless steel weighing plate on a painted steel substructure together with a silicone-coated aluminium load cell that provides IP65 dust and splash-water protection. The instrument shares the uniform, comfortable KERN operating concept for design, menu structure, key functions, interface connection and protocol. Industry 4.0 readiness comes from the KERN Universal Port (KUP): data and control commands can pass through one interface on the housing or, via a KUP Extension Box, through three interfaces in parallel. Available options include RS-232, USB, Ethernet, WLAN and Bluetooth, each set independently for tasks such as continuous PC logging, stable-value printing or analogue target-weight control. A built-in real-time clock records weighing results with accurate time stamps and keeps correct time after power loss.
