IoT-Line precision balance KERN PCJ 600-2M is a precision balance with alibi memory and optional verification for paperless archiving of weighing results, including those subject to legal metrology rules that require electronic evaluation and further processing. Internal adjustment via a side rotary knob ensures high accuracy and makes the instrument independent of installation site; adjustment can also be performed under battery operation without mains power. A uniform, comfortable KERN operating philosophy is applied across design, menu structure, key functions, interface connection and protocol. The menu offers many customisable settings such as key tones, a programmable shortcut key and adaptable print protocols, while a menu lock blocks unauthorised access. The balance is well suited for connection to laboratory information systems (LIMS) and supports GLP/ISO logging of weighing data and adjustments with date, time and identification number.
