Iron Standard Solution ROTI®Star, 5000 mg/kg Fe in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil

Iron Standard Solution is a metallo-organic standard containing 5000 mg/kg Fe in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil for elemental analysis by AAS and ICP. Offered as a 50 ml pack in the ROTI®Star range from manufacturer Carl ROTH, it is an analytical chemical intended as a standard for atomic absorption spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma techniques. The solution has a density of 0,862 g/cm³, a flash point of 115 °C and a boiling point greater than 218 °C, in line with the 20 cSt hydrocarbon-oil matrix. This oil-based iron standard is used where iron must be determined in organic matrices and belongs to the metallo-organic standards employed in AAS and ICP laboratories.
