Description

Laboratory stand BOY 100, green is a height-adjustable laboratory table that supports oil baths, hot plates, electrical instruments, Dewar vessels and similar apparatus at the required working height without locking. The platform measures 50 x 40 mm and offers a stroke/adjustability range of 30–91 mm. Static load capacity is 10 kg while maximum load capacity reaches 20 kg. Safe height adjustment is performed by a scissor-grid mechanism operated manually via a rotary knob or optionally by motor. The stand may rest freely on the bench or be secured to support frames up to 16 mm diameter with additional stand plates. Fabricated from anodically oxidised light metals by manufacturer LAT, the unit is corrosion-resistant and finished in green. This compact laboratory lift provides stable, continuously variable elevation for everyday laboratory equipment in research, analytical and preparative settings, combining straightforward manual control with robust construction for reliable daily use.

Questions about Jack BOY type 100

What is this article?

Jack BOY type 100 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes LAT for laboratory use. It sits in Stands, rods & bases, inside Stands, clamps & racks, in Labware.

A retort stand is a base and a rod. The base mass keeps a clamped flask from tipping. Rod diameter decides which bossheads fit. A light base under a heavy condenser is how glassware falls.

A stand, a clamp and a rack hold something still so the hands can do the work. A bosshead locks a clamp to a rod. A test-tube rack keeps tubes upright and in an order the operator can read back. The failure is almost always mechanical: the clamp slips, or the rack does not match the tube diameter. The glass they support is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
