Description

Ceramic chamber furnace SNOL 15/1300 LSC01 with a useful volume of 15 l is a high-precision electric furnace intended for hardening, annealing, normalising and other thermal processing procedures up to 1300 °C. It features a solid ceramic chamber, microprocessor temperature controller (Omron E5CC basic model), side-opening door, lower-mounted control panel, door safety switch and ceramic floor plate. Low power consumption, high-temperature resistance and high accuracy characterise this unit from manufacturer SnolTherm. An optional exhaust chimney can be installed to prevent process gases from entering the room. The furnace is well suited to scientific laboratories, educational institutions, medical and industrial environments. Chamber dimensions are 215 mm width, 400 mm depth and 195 mm height; external dimensions measure 640 mm × 815 mm × 820 mm. Rated power is 6 kW at 400 V, 50 Hz, three-phase. Maximum heat-up time without charge is 140 min, with temperature stability of ±1 °C and uniformity of ±10 °C at nominal temperature after equilibration. Net weight is 130 kg (gross 162 kg).

Questions about Keramik - Kammerofen 15 L 1300°C

What is this article?

Keramik - Kammerofen 15 L 1300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
