Description

Ceramic chamber furnace SNOL 7,2/1300 LSC01 is a high-precision electric ceramic furnace intended for hardening, annealing, normalizing and other thermal processing procedures up to 1300 °C. The unit provides a useful chamber volume of 7,2 l within a massive ceramic chamber; heating elements are seated in grooves on four walls and remain partially visible. Working temperature ranges from ambient +10 °C to 1300 °C, with maximum temperature 1300 °C. After equilibration without load, temperature stability in the working chamber is within ±2 °C and temperature uniformity within ±10 °C. Chamber dimensions are 195 mm width, 295 mm depth and 125 mm height; external dimensions are 445 mm × 590 mm × 525 mm. Rated power is 3,5 kW at 230 V, 50 Hz, single phase, protection class IP20. Maximum heat-up time without charge is 240 min. A side-opening door with safety switch, ceramic bottom plate and Omron E5CC microprocessor temperature controller with the control panel in the lower section support safe routine use. An optional exhaust chimney can be fitted to limit release of process gases into the room. Suitable for scientific laboratories, educational institutions, medicine and industry, this furnace from manufacturer SnolTherm combines low power consumption with high-temperature resistance and accuracy. Net weight is 104 kg.

Questions about Keramik - Kammerofen 7,2 L 1300°C

What is this article?

Keramik - Kammerofen 7,2 L 1300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
