KS 501 digital S003 is a flat orbital shaker offering a large support surface and a maximum shaking load of 15 kg. Speed is continuously adjustable from 0 to 300 min⁻¹ with digital readout, and the 30 mm orbital stroke delivers gentle yet effective mixing. The instrument is ideal for vessels larger than 250 ml, including round-bottom flasks, Erlenmeyer flasks, culture flasks and culture bottles, and is well suited to biological and microbiological growth experiments as well as the preparation of stock solutions. Continuous (infinite) operation remains reliable even under heavy loads, and a built-in timer supports timed protocols. The platform measures 450 × 450 mm; USB and RS 232 interfaces are integrated for data exchange. Attachments are not included and must be ordered separately. Supplied by manufacturer IKA with a Swiss plug, this shaker is ready for laboratories that require the corresponding mains connection and dependable orbital motion for culture and solution work.
