Description
LabHEAT® housing heating mantle KM-MER is a combined stirring heating mantle for 100 ml round-bottom flasks of Ø 64 mm. A flexible glass-silk heating body sits inside a plastic-coated, chemical-resistant metal housing that integrates mains and heating-zone switching plus a built-in power controller for individual output adjustment. A separately switchable magnetic stirrer supports simultaneous heating and mixing; an egg-shaped magnetic stir bar 30 × 15 mm is included. Rated power is 100 W with one heating zone and a maximum heating-conductor temperature of 450 °C. The mantle runs on 230 V AC via a 1,5 m cable with Schuko plug and residual-current personal protection switch. Net weight is about 2,5 kg (gross 3,0 kg). Offered by manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik, the KM-MER series is intended for small-scale synthesis, dissolution, and reaction work where compact footprint, chemical-resistant housing, and integrated stirring are advantageous. The controller enables fine power matching to flask contents while the protective metal shell withstands typical laboratory chemical exposure.

Questions about LabHEAT® Metal-cased heating mantle KM-MER, 100 ml, 100 W / 230 V
What is this article?
LabHEAT® Metal-cased heating mantle KM-MER, 100 ml, 100 W / 230 V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Heating mantles, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating mantle cups a round-bottom flask so the heat meets the glass without a bare flame. The flask volume the mantle was knitted for is the specification. A 1 L mantle under a 250 mL flask heats the air, not the liquid.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
