LabHEAT® Housing Heating Mantle KM-MER-SO is a combined stirring-heating mantle for 1000 ml round-bottom flasks with a diameter of 131 mm. A flexible glass-silk heating element is housed in a plastic-coated, chemical-resistant metal casing that includes a heating-zone switch, an integrated controller for individual power adjustment, and a separately switchable magnetic stirrer. Heating and stirring functions run independently, each with its own power supply. Rated power is 300 W across two heating zones, with a maximum heating conductor temperature of 450 °C. The unit is intended exclusively for operation with laboratory controller type KM-RX1005 and originates from manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik in the LabHEAT® line. Electrical supply is through a 1,5 m mains lead with a 7-pin circular connector and residual-current protective switch at 230 V AC rated voltage. An egg-shaped magnetic stir bar measuring 50 × 20 mm is supplied with the mantle. It supports controlled heating and agitation of larger round-bottom flasks in everyday laboratory practice.
