Description
LabHEAT® Standard heating mantle KM-GH, 250 ml, 300 W / 230 V is designed for heating 250 ml round-bottom flasks with a flask diameter of 85 mm. The flexible heating body is made from heat-resistant quartz glass yarn to support higher power levels and temperatures, while the outer mantle consists of glass silk. Nominal power is 300 W across two heating zones, and the maximum heating conductor temperature reaches 900 °C. The mantle operates at a nominal voltage of 230 V AC and is fitted with a 1,5 m mains cable with Schuko plug. A heating-zone switch and residual-current personal protection switch support controlled, safer bench use during routine laboratory work. Compact construction and a net weight of 1,0 kg make the unit practical to position alongside synthesis or sample-preparation setups. Supplied as a single piece, this LabHEAT® standard heating mantle from manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik is intended for everyday flask heating in chemical and analytical laboratories where dependable mantle heating of round-bottom flasks is required.

Questions about LabHEAT® Standard heating mantle KM-GH, 250 ml, 300 W / 230 V
What is this article?
LabHEAT® Standard heating mantle KM-GH, 250 ml, 300 W / 230 V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Heating mantles, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating mantle cups a round-bottom flask so the heat meets the glass without a bare flame. The flask volume the mantle was knitted for is the specification. A 1 L mantle under a 250 mL flask heats the air, not the liquid.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
