Description
LabHEAT® tripod KM-DF, 4,000 ml is a stainless steel laboratory accessory intended to improve the standing stability of standard heating mantles used with 4,000 ml vessels. Fabricated from stainless steel 1.4301, the tripod provides a firm mechanical support frame for heating mantle setups in routine laboratory work. It is designed as matching accessory hardware for the KM-G, KM-GS and KM-GH series of standard heating mantles when these are operated at the 4,000 ml volume class. The robust metal construction helps keep the mantle securely positioned during heating tasks involving larger flasks or reaction vessels, where tip-over risk and uneven loading can otherwise become an issue. Offered as a single-piece unit with a net weight of 1,1 kg and a gross weight of 1,1 kg, this LabHEAT® KM-DF tripod from manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik integrates cleanly into existing LabHEAT® heating mantle installations. It addresses mechanical stand stability only and does not change the thermal function of the compatible mantle. Suitable for general laboratory environments that already rely on the KM-G, KM-GS or KM-GH platform at 4,000 ml.

Questions about LabHEAT® Tripod KM-DF, 4000 ml
What is this article?
LabHEAT® Tripod KM-DF, 4000 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Stands, rods & bases, inside Stands, clamps & racks, in Labware.
A retort stand is a base and a rod. The base mass keeps a clamped flask from tipping. Rod diameter decides which bossheads fit. A light base under a heavy condenser is how glassware falls.
A stand, a clamp and a rack hold something still so the hands can do the work. A bosshead locks a clamp to a rod. A test-tube rack keeps tubes upright and in an order the operator can read back. The failure is almost always mechanical: the clamp slips, or the rack does not match the tube diameter. The glass they support is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
