Description

LAUDA flow controller MID 80 LiBus is a flow-control system with magnetic-inductive measurement, compatible with Integral IN XT and IN P temperature control units. Permissible tempering media are water/glycol mixtures. Setpoint entry and control run via the operating menu of the connected tempering device. The unit can be used on pressure-superimposed systems up to max. 140 °C and on open or cold-oil-superimposed systems up to max. 90 °C. Maximum controllable volume flow depends on the pump performance of the tempering unit and the pressure drop in the application; adjustable pressure limitation is provided in the application circuit. A calibration certificate is included and the assembly is mobile on castors (Lauda). Technical data valid with Kryo 30: working temperature range −40 … 140 °C, ambient 5 … 40 °C, flow control range 0,2 … 70 L/min, flow measuring range 0,0 … 99 L/min. Control accuracy of volume flow (20 °C; 20 L/min; 1 bar) is 0,2 ± L/min; measuring deviation ± 3,3 % at 1 L/min and ± 0,2 % at 70 L/min. External inlet/outlet thread is M38 × 1,5. Dimensions are 605 × 420 × 620 mm; weight 59 kg. Maximum power consumption 0,02 kW; supply via LiBus.

This article is part of Stopcocks & valves, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about LAUDA flow control MID 80 LiBus, compatible with Integral IN XT, IN P

What is this article?

LAUDA flow control MID 80 LiBus, compatible with Integral IN XT, IN P is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lauda for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
