Description
Lux and UV probe for monitoring light-sensitive exhibition objects combines compact dimensions of 28 x 56 x 15 mm with reliable measurement of incident light quantity and UV radiation. Designed for use both in exhibition rooms and inside display cases, this probe from manufacturer Testo is particularly suited to museums, galleries and other exhibition venues. The supplied cable measures 0,6 m and can be replaced if required by a longer 2,5 m cable ordered separately; several cables may also be combined up to a total length of 10 m. Measurement value processing takes place directly in the probe, so the length of the connecting cable between the wireless data logger and the probe does not affect measurement quality. This intelligent calibration concept delivers high digital measuring reliability and allows the probe to be sent for calibration on its own without the data logger. Pair the probe with a suitable data logger to monitor light and UV exposure on exhibits with precision in conservation and display environments.

Questions about Lux and UV probe, for light-sensitive, exhibition objects
What is this article?
Lux and UV probe, for light-sensitive, exhibition objects is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.
A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
Which category should I open next?
