Description
Magnetic stirrer LBX H20SQC is a heated laboratory magnetic stirrer with digital regulation for mixing volumes up to 10 L. It features a square Ceran hot plate measuring 184 × 184 mm and delivers 1030 W heating power, allowing plate temperature control up to 550 °C. Stirring speed is adjustable from 0 to 1500 min⁻¹. An LED display simultaneously indicates actual and set temperature. A dedicated safety circuit cuts heating automatically above 580 °C, while a “HOT” residual-heat warning remains visible after the instrument is switched off. An external Pt1000 sensor enables real-time temperature monitoring of the medium; the stand rod for the sensor is not included. The unit accepts stir bars 30 mm to 80 mm long and is supplied with one magnetic stir bar. External dimensions are 360 × 215 × 112 mm. Power requirement is 200–240 V / 50–60 Hz with IP21 protection rating. This instrument from manufacturer Labbox is backed by a two-year warranty and suits routine heating and stirring tasks in research and quality-control laboratories.

Questions about Magnetic stirrer w/ heating, LBX H20SQC, glass ceramic plate and digital regulat
What is this article?
Magnetic stirrer w/ heating, LBX H20SQC, glass ceramic plate and digital regulat is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Magnetic stirrers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A magnetic stirrer is the motor and the plate under the flask. Many also heat. The stirring capacity is the litres of a water-like liquid it can turn, and a viscous liquid defeats a rating that was measured on water.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
