Inner spool width is 44 mm and inner diameter 100 mm; outer width is 55 mm and outer diameter 180 mm, giving a high winding capacity of up to 150 m for rope of 2 mm diameter. When flammable or readily ignitable liquids are collected, electrically conductive hand cable reels—optionally combined with an earthing cable—are required, and immersion bottles must be made of non-sparking metal.
