Measuring pipette 1 ml soda-lime glass is a Class AS, Type 1 volumetric pipette intended for accurate measuring and transfer of liquids. It is calibrated for delivery (“Ex”) at +20 °C reference temperature, with volume tolerances matching the error limits of the German calibration regulations as well as ISO and DIN. The partial-delivery design allows different liquid volumes to be taken up and released in equal or differently sized portions. Graduation includes main-point ring division, numbering from top to bottom (zero point above), and a clearly readable line scale. Fabricated from soda-lime glass (AR-Glas ®) by manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the pipette features a permanently fired blue print for long-lasting legibility and a cotton-plug end. Class AS specifies a 15-second waiting time. Pipettes bearing a batch number are accompanied by a batch certificate that records the mean value obtained from the batch measurement, the standard deviation and the issue date; certificates can also be accessed online. The four-digit batch code indicates production year and batch. Suitable for volumetry and controlled partial delivery of liquids in laboratory workflows.
