Superhydrophobic inner surfaces reduce adhesion and improve sample recovery. On average, ULR pipette tips cut retention in the tip by 85 % and lower the standard deviation of the retained volume by more than 75 %. They are free from human DNA and tested free of DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors, making them suitable for molecular biology and PCR-related work. No filter is fitted; the tips are packed in polypropylene racks. A sterilisation certificate is available. The narrow-form Premium Line design from manufacturer Labbox supports precise handling at a nominal volume of 20 µl with reduced sample hold-up.
