Description

Microscope slides UniMark® yellow with cut edges are glass slides for routine microscopy and in-vitro diagnostic work. Each slide measures approximately 76 × 26 × 1 mm and carries a yellow writing field for clear specimen identification and labelling. Cut edges support comfortable handling during preparation and examination. Intended for applications under EU Regulation 2017/746 on in-vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDR), the slides bear the CE mark and are supplied with a recommended expiry date and batch number for full information and traceability. Produced by Marienfeld, they are packed in boxes of 50 pieces, with 2500 pieces per outer carton, supporting organised storage and distribution in clinical and research laboratories. The coloured marking area enables quick visual sorting when several sample types are processed side by side. Suitable for histology, cytology and general microscopy preparations, UniMark® yellow slides combine practical labelling convenience with the documentation features required in modern diagnostic environments.

Questions about Microscope slides UniMark® yellow, cut edges

What is this article?

Microscope slides UniMark® yellow, cut edges is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Marienfeld for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope slides & cover glasses, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.

A slide is the glass a specimen sits on. A cover glass is the thin sheet over it, of a thickness the objective was designed for. A cover glass of the wrong thickness softens the image. Charged and plain slides hold sections differently.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
