Description

minicaps® end-to-end 100 µl capillary pipettes are precision micro disposable pipettes for accurate end-to-end liquid handling in laboratory and in-vitro diagnostic workflows. These single-use capillaries are made from DURAN® glass and feature a length of 100 mm with a nominal volume of 100 µl. The non-heparinised KB design suits applications where anticoagulant coating is not required. They are supplied with a declaration of conformity according to DIN 12600, meet ISO 7550, and carry CE marking in accordance with IVD Directive 98/79/EC. Available from manufacturer Hirschmann in packs of 1000 pieces, minicaps® end-to-end capillaries support reliable micro-volume sampling and transfer. Their defined geometry enables consistent capillary fill and complete discharge when used end to end. Typical uses include clinical chemistry, haematology sample preparation and general analytical laboratory work where calibrated disposable glass capillaries help maintain hygiene and minimise cross-contamination compared with reusable glassware. The DURAN® glass construction provides the dimensional stability expected for routine calibrated micro-pipetting tasks.

Questions about MINICAPS END-TO-END 100 µL, LENGTH 100 MM, CC

What is this article?

MINICAPS END-TO-END 100 µL, LENGTH 100 MM, CC is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
