Description

minicaps® end-to-end 3 µl capillaries are precision micro disposable pipettes for accurate end-to-end liquid handling in laboratory and clinical workflows. Manufactured from DURAN® glass, each capillary is specified for a nominal volume of 3 µl and a length of 30–32 mm, supporting reliable transfer of very small sample volumes. The pipettes are NA-heparinized to reduce clotting risk in blood-related applications and are supplied with a declaration of conformity according to DIN 12600. They comply with ISO 7550 and are CE marked in line with IVD 98/79 EG, making them suitable for in-vitro diagnostic use where these requirements apply. Colour coding KB helps identify the 3 µl size quickly at the bench. Packaged as 5000 pieces, these single-use capillaries from manufacturer Hirschmann are intended for haematology, diagnostics and general microvolume pipetting. The end-to-end design promotes consistent fill and discharge without complex instrumentation, while the glass construction offers dimensional stability for routine laboratory practice. Ideal where controlled micro-sampling and disposable hygiene are priorities.

Questions about MINICAPS END-TO-END 3 µL, LENGTH 30-32 MM, CC, NA-HEP

What is this article?

MINICAPS END-TO-END 3 µL, LENGTH 30-32 MM, CC, NA-HEP is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
