Description

Minisart® NML syringe filter 16534----------K is a disposable syringe filter equipped with a 0,2 µm surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) membrane. It is the preferred option for aqueous solutions and oils in the pH range 4–8. Type 16534 supports sterile filtration and features a Luer Lock outlet for secure connections. The K version is individually packaged and sterilised with ethylene oxide (EO). Offered in a pack of 50 pc(s) from manufacturer Sartorius, these units enable reliable sample preparation, clarification and sterile filtration of compatible liquids in laboratory workflows. The SFCA membrane delivers consistent particle retention at 0,2 µm while preserving good flow for aqueous and oily matrices. Single-use design reduces cross-contamination risk and supports routine analytical or research protocols requiring surfactant-free filtration. The filter is suitable for volumes typical of syringe-based processing and maintains performance across the stated pH window. Availability is limited to EU/EEA and registered countries as indicated by the manufacturer data.

This article is part of Syringe filters, in Filtration.

Questions about MinisartCA;0,2m;28mm;sterile;50pc

What is this article?

MinisartCA;0,2m;28mm;sterile;50pc is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Syringe filters, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.

A syringe filter is a membrane in a plastic housing on a Luer fitting. Pore size, membrane polymer and diameter are the three choices. 0.2 µm is the sterilising and the HPLC-particle cut. 0.45 µm is the coarser clarification. Aqueous and solvent-resistant membranes are different polymers.

Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
